Join us for a walk through Whitesburg, KY, seat of Letcher County. When we visited we got a chance to see vintage vehicles, unique shops, and a number of eye-catching spot sure to spark your interest as they did ours. If you’ve never been to southeastern Kentucky, Whitesburg could be a great place to start. This is an old school hardworking town. The people here believe in hard work and they strive to keep their communities safe and prosperous. Don’t just take my word for it though. If you’re ever in this neck of the woods and you ask anyone for help you, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with how hospitable the locals are. If you’re lost you can count on good directions and if you smile or make polite conversation, you’ll get that and more in return. The folks here are proud of where they live and they want to encourage tourism. Be sure to visit Whitesburg and other great Eastern Kentucky cities the next time you visit the Bluegrass!!
